This Elliot Brown watch is all that an ‘everyday’ sports watch should be: smart today, smart tomorrow, whatever you’re doing, whatever you’re wearing. Sporting and sophisticated, it’s a watch you’ll never need, or want, to take off.
The black dial has subtle white SuperLuminova that you won’t notice until you need it, and classic, bold white hands and dial markers that stop it from ever looking utilitarian. The case and solid-link bracelet with micro-adjustable wetsuit extension have a brushed finish to catch the light just the right amount and the Elliot Brown logo is machined deep into the clasp and filled with SuperLuminova so, yes, the buckle glows.

Elliot Brown was started with a goal to build the most wearable, affordable, toughest watches on the planet. Long term friends, Ian Elliot and Alex Brown, share many years of totally unique watch making skills from the world of extreme sport and it is this knowledge that forms the bedrock behind their extraordinarily capable watches.
Every collection has its own unique Dorset reference story and occupies a niche within the Elliot Brown stable such as the Kimmeridge collection named after Kimmeridge Bay where time on the water and waves has been enjoyed by the founders for many years.
The mix of style, quality and every day utility is a powerful combination that is so effortless to wear for any occasion or activity with none of the anxiety normally associated with desirable watches. It’s a unique mix the brand has become synonymous with.
The Elliot Brown headquarters is in a working boat yard bordering Poole Harbour complete with bar and restaurant on the water’s edge, Lake Yard Club.
Canford
The Canford typifies Elliot Brown’s watch making DNA perfectly. It is quietly handsome, for those who don't want their watch to shout too loudly with the elegance of a pre '53 Super Compressor. It's the sort of watch you need never take off, no matter how tough the conditions or how smart the suit.
The Canford's Swiss-made movement has a three year battery life and is secured inside a unique shock-absorbing steel movement housing. The 44mm case wears much smaller than its dimensions would have you think and is machined from solid 316L marine grade stainless steel which develops a gorgeous patina over time.
The dial, hands and bezel are all coated with long-lasting SuperLuminova detailing for outstanding legibility in all light conditions. The internal rotating bezel is operated by the upper crown and is damped for a silent, glass-smooth action.
Both crowns are fitted with triple seals to block moisture even when the crown is extended while aggressive knurling gives secure grip even with gloved fingers. The ‘compressor’ case back is bolted down, not threaded, because it's the best combination of precisely orientating the shock-absorbing movement housing inside the case, keeping the case back straight and giving the best sealing performance.
