Choosing your ring size
Finding the ideal fit for a new ring is an important step in choosing jewellery. Getting it right means the ring is comfortable yet secure when worn.
We can help most effectively with ring sizing in store, but if you are unable to visit us, we have a couple of handy tools and tips below that will assist you.
Measure an existing ring
Find an existing ring that fits the intended finger. Bring this into store and we can take a measurement whilst you wait, or measure the inside diameter at home using the chart below.
Use a size gauge
Our leading wedding ring partner Brown & Newirth have created a sizing gauge- simply print this out (at 100% scale for accuracy) and follow the instructions.
Temperature Matters
If you are sizing at home, take into account the temperature; our fingers can fluctuate in size if too cold or too hot, take a measurement at a normal temperature and for added accuracy, on a few occasions throughout the day.
Scales and Units
UK finger sizes are on an alphabetical scale and include ½ sizes. Our most commonly ordered sizes are L,M,N for ladies and Q R S for gents.
Band-width affects comfort
Think about the style of the ring you are ordering- a wide style can feel a lot more snug compared to a thinner band.

If in doubt, you can order the ring in the stated size to present or to try. Many of our rings come with a resize free of charge.
